I am a new Yorkie owner, our Benji is 14 weeks old, and his ears are still down as well. He was the largest of the litter, will probably be about 9 lbs., the rest of the litter all had their ears up already, so I didn't know if his size had anything to do with his ears still being down. I have shaved them, but I would like to know more about this ear massage - do you just rub them? for how long? I don't want to have to tape, and I do not want to use super glue as I have heard done. I was going to ask if anyone has heard of, or used, ear putty? But it sounds like they will eventually stand on their own. Has anyone ever not had their ears stand? |
