I myself have never gotten a rescue from a shelter or organization and that is mostly due to me not fitting some of the requirements for some organizations. I have gotten a retiring dog from a breeder before an it turned out to be one of the greatest dogs I’ve owned . I’m one to believe explore all your options .

I believe that even though you are a full time employee you can be a successful and responsible pet owner even without a dog sitter/Walker who pops by mid day . I’ve lived this life most of my professional life and with a child so don’t be discouraged there.
