Callie had to have almost all of her baby teeth pulled when she was spayed, Joey had to have I think 4 pulled when he was neutered, Penny had two pulled when she was spayed and then Ollie had two pulled. They normally don’t require stitches or anything and it’s very normal for Yorkies. Ollie had a weird puppy tooth that was twice the size as normal which ended up requiring a stitch but that’s not normal. Baby teeth have no roots so it’s not necessary to do X-rays or anything. By the time they are 6 or 7 months if they haven’t fallen out then they aren’t generally going to.
