You are in my thoughts and prayers Phil. I am so very sorry for you and Bella's loss of your beloved Walter. I am so glad that you changed your mind about rehoming Bella...I too believe you need each other. As Kristin said, dogs do adjust. I believe that Bella will be happiest with you even though that means a change in her lifestyle.
