It's so hard to watch our babies when they are in those last stages of their little lives. My first yorkie, Teddy, was 14 when he passed with kidney failure. He had a very hard time even walking during the last couple of days. He would try to walk and just end of going sideways. I was prepared to take him to the vet on Monday morning but he passed in his sleep on Saturday afternoon. So heartbreaking but he gave me 14 years of pleasure and unconditional love. He'll always have a place in my heart even though I've now got my little diva, Gidget. I think of him even though it's been 5 years. Our little guys get into our hearts and they never leave. Enjoy your little one and grieve when he's gone but you'll have previous memories of him.
