I made the decision to have Brandi put to sleep because she was in chronic pain and most of her final days were spent on pain medication. When there was nothing more that could be done to alleviate her pain permanently, it was time to put her to sleep.

I've had to put several animals to sleep and I usually gauge on their quality of life. It always came down to their suffering and how much and how long.
