I have to agree with Ann. Unless you have lost a much loved fur companion you cannot imagine the pain the owner is going through. Speaking from my own experience of loosing these precious babies, the pain in your heart is unbearable. The poor person as Ann wrote is most likely dwelling on that thought herself, thinking how her baby must have suffered. Take no offense to her comment, you didn't mean it that way.
