Last year a mole came out from under the deck, Cody was fixed on a boulder in the back yard, I was sitting in the back where I can see exactly where Cody goes, this lil mole is running then pauses, then runs, I am praying this thing gets out of the yard before Cody catches it's scent, I started thumping my foot on the ground to keep that mole moving, thankfully he got out lol, close call. One of many reasons I just love the yorkie breed.
I am sooo with you! How Piper can hear a little gopher walking on mud, underneath decking is totally beyond me. But she'll be scooting along and suddenly come to a halt, and cock that little noggin' of hers totally listening for that varmint! My little Pipe brings me incredible joy and happiness and laughter--yorkies are, indeed, a breed like no other!
