I also have two very light muted yorkie females. I enjoy the sheen to their coat so much I bred them to a extremely light (silvery) yorkie male too.
Tan head, Gold head, almost white head.........black, blue, dark silver, almost white silver.......yorkies can come in all those colors. They also come in other variations too but not real common. One color may not be the standard, one color may but it doesnt mean they arent yorkie.
Some people get a general idea of how things are and just touch the surface........and they think they know the whole breed or story........but many times there is alot more to do it.
No disrespect intended but just because they work at a vets office does not mean they are as knowledgeable as they would like to act.
The best place to start if you didnt think your yorkie was purebred was a research of the breeder or lines.
Yorkies are a unique breed in many ways.
Hugs to your yorkie! |
