Leaking Yorkie? I did find another thread on this but the information in the thread wasn't terribly helpful and I'm hoping someone has some more advice.
About 4 months ago my ~5 year old, spayed yorkie started leaking mostly at night in her kennel. We took her to the doctor and he gave her a RX of Proin (or Phenylpropanolamine). That seemed to help but she often throws it up. So we're left with deciding do we prefer leaking urine or throwup. I'd prefer neither.
We took her off the proin after a little while and the leaking seemed to have stopped or gotten much better.
We took her to a baby-sitter's house last week while we were on vacation and the baby-sitter said the urine leaking and peeing had gotten much worse...to the point she put a diaper on our yorkie most of the time. When I picked her up the diaper was noticably wet.
Is it possible she's peeing and leaking out of some anxiety about going to the baby-sitters because she seemed fine when I dropped her off a week ago.
I don't know what to do, other than see if being home for a few days relaxes her to the point she might stop peeing. I didn't notice her peeing at home yesterday but this morning when I got her out of her kennel, she had leaked quite a lot.
