I picked him up from the vet about an hour ago. He came through the surgery just fine but his adjustment at home is not going well so far. He is confused and I think maybe a little afraid. He won't settle down and go to sleep. I'm sure it's tough for him - the world just went dark. All I can do is hope and pray I made the right decision.
If anyone knows another pet parent who has been through this, and would be willing to talk to me about their journey, I would really appreciate it. I could use the support right now. |
