I’m going to probably get bashed for this but I’m not necessarily a fan of dog shows and think there can be a great breeder that does all the right things without showing. Dog showing has done terrible things to many breeds and there are standards that have just destroyed once healthy dogs. Look at German Sheppard’s for instance a show winning one can hardly walk. Look how the standard has changed many breeds where they can hardly not breath. They are also the reason we cut dogs tails off and crop ears.
