Piper Has Me Puzzled Piper was very lethargic this morning; she stayed in bed after I got up, and when she came out, would walk a few feet, then lie down. She responded positively, but very subdued, when asked about going for a walk...and she did perk up during walk--even chased after rabbits (on her 30' leash). When we got home, she laid down pretty much immediately and is sleeping now. It's just got me concerned...Her little body functions are normal; she's had water and has happily eaten chicken.
My question (finally, right?) is could Piper be affected the high humidity and heat here in southeastern Wisconsin? They have issued 'extreme heat warnings' which is something we never experienced in Sparks, NV. Our home has AC, but it was off most of last night; I turned it on early morning cuz I was having trouble sleeping. Anyway, is there something I should be doing for my girl or should I leave her alone and just let her sleep (under couch--a new is discovery and new favorite)? Any changes any Piper cause me concern (read: nervous, worried, and scared), but I'm trying to maintain common sense. Any thoughts, suggestions, or steps I should take at this time? THANK YOU SOOO MUCH FOR ANY DIRECTION...
