Hi all! This is my first post and I am hoping to not get a plethora of negative comments as I've seen so many others get in the past. I've been a member for over a year and have read many threads to learn and gain information when I have questions and concerns along with many books and online information. I have spoken to a few breeders about when they start breeding and how often they breed. Some start at age 2 and breed 2 heats on and one off. Others start on second heat and go every other heat. I am curious to hear from the breeders on this site what they do given that the dam is healthy and handles pregnancy well.
