I absolutely hate Fronline or any poison they promote for fleas & tics.
Just this season I bought Earth Animal flea & tic collar. It is all natural with plant essential oils. I have researched the oils in it and all are safe for dogs, not sure about cats.
I also use a good quality rose geranium oil. I put just a drop on the collar, I just want a little more protection. We have tons of tics here too just going for short walks. So far I have found on one tic and it was dead.
Every time we come inside, weather for out side potty or a walk, we check him real good.
So far so good. He has worn the collar for about a month. It says it lasts 3 months. It costs me $13.00, so I will buy another before the 3 months are up.
I too used frontline, but it’s so bad for our babies. That stuff is absorbed into the kidneys, livers.
I suggest you research other products.
