 Diahrrea in my Yorkie
I'm wondering if any of your Yorkies have had ongoing diarrhea? This is the first time she has had problems for over a week. I picked her up from a dog sitter and the next day it started.....liquid, bloody diarrhea. The Vet gave her some injections and meds to take home....an antiobiotic and some Kaopectic type paste. She has been on her meds and has only eaten boiled chicken with rice, but still not having normal stool. It is somewhat formed now, but yellowish in color and not her normal looking stool.. Back to the Vet for more injections and still the same. He tested her blood for pancreatitis which came back only slightly elevated. She has a very inflamed looking rectum and drags her butt a lot. Vet checked her anal glands and they are normal. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. Has anyone had similar experiences?
