My dog is currently hospitalized for what is suspected to be hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. We don't know what caused it. I just wanted to ask if anyone has experience with it and what I should expect as far as treatment and recovery. I've learned that oftentimes you guys know better than the doctors do. Right now he's getting fluids and they are going to do an ultrasound tomorrow.

I took him to the E-Vet immediately and he was admitted and put on fluids right away. I think he has the best odds for recovery he could have.
