I went to the vet for Pax and the vet recommended the same treatment. We didn't proceed because Pax was battling another GI issue (see the parasite thread).

Well coincidentally, he stopped having issues when I started feeding a blander diet. I thought maybe it was due to him having the small intestinal issues at first. When I started transitioning back to his normal food a few days ago, the regurgitating/vomit (4-5 hours after eating) came back. I'm still experimenting but I'm feeding a blander diet again, and he's not spitting up.

Wanted to share my experience.
The issue with the blander diet is it’s not balanced. If issues are there a vet nutritionist really needs to be consulted. Not feeding a balanced diet can cause serious issues.
