I think we are killing these dogs and making them sick- breeding, vaccinations, heart worm meds, tick and flea meds, dog parks, etc.
I have to disagree. I believe it goes back to mostly breeding issues and very little environment. Vaccines are extremly important to keep dogs healthy. Heart worm meds are a lot less toxic then the treatment which will leave your dog with lasting health issues and can kill them. Fleas and ticks can also cause significant health issues. I’m not sure how dog parks are bad. I used to take Callie all the time when she was younger and nothing happened. There really is not research to show that either. I went through the classes and really learned a lot about this stuff. Not vaccinating leads to a huge outbreak problem as well as can kill dogs not vaccinated for certain things.
