Like Matese, Piper went after a duck, full-force and (literally) hit the water running! It was early spring, the water was very cold, and Pipe was drenched! So far, Piper is not a big fan of the water---we live withing walking distance of the lake--and water just lapping kinda hits her in the face. So...the other day I purchased a life vest and am hoping it provides a bit of security for her. I like that it's bright and therefore will be easily seen and it will keep her above water without inhibiting her movements. Haven't tried it yet, but will let you know if Piper changes her opinion after swimming with vest on. |
