I have never had a dog from a reputable breeder and never had one that had their dew claws removed. Although research shows Penny did not come from a reputable breeder her dew claws are gone. When I was messing with her paw I noticed on the left one there is actually a pretty decent scar and it seems like you can feel the whole joint under the skin and everything but it is not like that on her other paw. Is that normal or is it possible that one paw was done wrong? She goes in to the vet in two weeks for a recheck and I was going to ask the vet then to but I was just wondering.
