Here's a research article that refers to Yorkshire Terriers as brachycephalic, compared to the dolichocephalic German Shepherd: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/...2001.tb00960.x

This study concentrates on lateral ventricle size and shape in MR images of different sized breeds, namely the brachycephalic Yorkshire Terrier and the dolichocephalic German Shepherd dog. The authors aim at developing a technique to standardize measurements and correlating ventricle size with overall brain size. Therefore a relative parameter, the relative ventricle area, is introduced to allow ventricle size comparison between breeds. Further, an attempt is made to rule out neurologically symptomatic Yorkshire Terriers from non-symptomatic ones using the relative ventricle area.
