Your leather Buddy Belts look wonderful.

Has anyone used a Buddy Belt on their yorkie puppy--one that is say ~2.5 lb? The Buddy Belt sizing chart has a weight column, but the associated girth measurements seem large (relative to weight).

These young ones grow so fast, would you hold off on the Buddy Belt until the pup has matured in growth?

As for cleaning, have you tried a vinegar and olive oil solution? See "Organic Leather Cleaner and Preserver Recipe," zenoils

[blog] (n.d.?).

Thank you in advance for your thoughts.
I used L'il Pals mesh harnesses when mine were babies. They are soft and comfortable, and come in two sizes for tinies. They were adjustable enough to keep my babies safe from as small as one pound, and they each wore one to their first vet visit. Best of all, they are very economical, and do not make you feel guilty when they must be set aside due to the rapid growth of our little ones.
