Your leather Buddy Belts look wonderful.

Has anyone used a Buddy Belt on their yorkie puppy--one that is say ~2.5 lb? The Buddy Belt sizing chart has a weight column, but the associated girth measurements seem large (relative to weight).

These young ones grow so fast, would you hold off on the Buddy Belt until the pup has matured in growth?

As for cleaning, have you tried a vinegar and olive oil solution? See "Organic Leather Cleaner and Preserver Recipe," zenoils [blog] (n.d.?).

Thank you in advance for your thoughts.
I had to buy a buddy belt 2 which is the synthetic leather one for Joey when he was 3 pounds because everything else was putting pressure on his trachea. I don’t think I would recommend buying the full leather one for a puppy though because they will grow out of it but the BB2 is good option.
