I have always had females raised from puppies. After my 17 year old girl went to rainbow bridge my vet gifted me a 2 1/2 year old male yorkie. Many members have said males are more affectionate then females. Having had a pack of 3 females all 3 years apart they had each other but, they still cuddled up with me, and all 3 were my shadow. However, I do have to agree that my boy is a momma's boy. In the heat of summer this lil guy is pressed into my thigh when I'm sitting on the sofa, he sleeps under the blankets next to me and he loves cuddling.
