Titers are pretty much clinically useless - they can only show humoral immunity; they cannot show cellular immunity AT ALL.
The DOI (duration of immunity) for Distemper and Parvo can be 7yrs to life - those are the studies done by Dr. Dodd etc who has done all the challenge studies.
For kiddos who have a reaction to *any* vaccine - give Benadryl about 45mins prior to giving vaccine (you can do this at home). My vet has been a vet for over 30yrs and in that time - she has NEVER seen a vaccine reaction in an animal who was given Benadryl prior to the vaccine.
