We had a mirror in our living room forever and after we redecorated it didn't go any longer. I threw it out. My friend JoAnne stopped and I was outside. She couldn't believe I was throwing out a perfectly good mirror.. I told her she could have it, there was nothing wrong with it, I just didn't think it matched my living room anymore. Well, fast forward about 5 years, hubby comes in from a garage sale: Hey, Joanne and Ginny were having a garage sale, look at this mirror I BOUGHT. Yup! He bought the mirror I threw out 5 years ago. Funny thing is, it matches again, new paint job and living room furniture! So, it hangs proudly on the wall and is a great conversation piece.
