but last posted on 4/18/14! Apparently my life got crazy busy after 4/18/14.
At any rate, since that time, Jack will be turning 9 years old in May - I joined this group shortly after I brought him home... Little Ms. Izzy will be 6 in May (thank you Breny!) and we just recently (November, 2017) added little Jada. Jada came to us via a rescue. She was used as a puppy mill breeder and had litters from the time she was 6 months old until she was rescued in July, 2017. I'm not sure what all this poor baby endured but I know she was not treated very well at all. I do know she was being kept in an Amish barn in a cage with her sister and her mom (both of whom would pick on her). She doesn't trust humans much still (we are always working on showing her love and compassion). I had gone away on vacation for 10 days and came home to a very sick little girl. I didn't realize it at the time, but her liver has been compromised. I took her to the vet where they administered fluids, gave her a vitamin B shot and sent her home with meds - this was just this past Friday. She isn't making much improvement so I am wondering if we can get some prayers going for little Jada. She has had the roughest start to a life and we are really hoping she will get it turned around here. Thank you all for reading this.
