True. Their time to hunt is around 5-7 pm and I now walk with a big walking stick. We haven't had one come close since that day.
We have a heavily traveled path right next to my house and this last week there have been hundreds up and now. Wild flowers. I think maybe all the extra traffic may have caused the birds to move upstream.
They will be back when it warms up again.
Part of living in a beautiful place is co-existing with Nature.
