A few days ago while walking Zeke a hawk started circling us and was getting fairly close so I picked up Zeke and the hawk came even closer so I started waving my free arm in the air and finally he backed away. Hawks are not to be played with. I always have Zeke on a leash and whenever I see them circling I keep Zeke very close.

That is dang scary!! I mean, having the hawk come in closer after picking up Zeke?! Geez, thank goodness it backed off, but maybe you should carry something to swing at it in case hawk decides to test you or something...?
