Our Bella had bad breath for the past few months, and I was eager to get her in for a dental. I'm glad I did, because she had a lot of abscesses below the gum line and needed a lot of teeth extracted. It's not necessarily due to poor dental hygiene--there's a genetic component to bad teeth as well. I recommend a professional dental checkup and cleaning.
