That user recommended folks look for "pure" duck filet strips from other manufacturers, saying the Trixie product has added salt and starch. Writer goes on to say, "Too much of it puts strain on your pancreas and, in the worst case, can lead to the development of diabetes and cancer!"

Wish I could be more helpful. My late little one turned her nose up at most of the chew treats I bought for her. I was forever sharing opened but unused bags of treats with the neighborhood.

*Says three reviews, but one is duplicate. All reviews were from 2014.
OMG! Thank you for doing the research I should've done. Didn't come to my mind to read online reviews. I did read the ingredients list and it didn't say salt is added. I won't feed this treat anymore.
