Just my opinion, but having had only males, and a multiple dog household, when we had a "visitor" dog who came for a play date, and marked in our den, my boys needed some retraining. After a thorough cleaning, and watching/correcting them we solved the problem, but it did have a domino effect.

Beau, our white poodle, came to us at 8 months old. We neutered him within a week, but he still hikes...Ty and Gus squat on pee pads at 2.5 yrs. old.
