I’m here looking for something completely different and ran across this. I thought I would share my recent experience. Maybe it could help someone at some point. I come here often and read these. It’s saved me & quite possibly my baby.
My guy had his 1st shot after around 12 weeks. It was a disaster. Terrifying! He had a seizure late at night. Urinated all over himself. I immediately got in the car and headed over an hour away to the nearest hospital. On the way I wondered if he was possibly suffering from hypoglycemia & found an old package of MD’s honey. He licked on it a bit and within minutes he perked up.
Long story short that is what happened. Because he was in so much pain he didn’t eat & we all know these little guys are at risk. We now follow a strict protocol for vaccines. Only 1 per visit. Pre medicated (Benadryl), vaccine, then home with an anti-inflammatory/pain med for 3 days. We have had zero issues since. Which has been 2 vaccines.
