I have a now 2 1/2 year old. I have two collies who do therapy dog work, but I thought she needed a companion her size to romp with. I adopted an active seven year old last year. They are great friends and love to play together. Both take naps on the collies s ruffs.
Perhaps an older Yorkie might be a better choice than two puppies. My dogs all have great house manners. The collies always accompany the yorkies when they go out to potty. The collies adore the little rascals and the rascals follow the lead of their big brother and sister.
Not sure I could train two puppies at once, but then it may be my age. Bringing in my seven year old has been a blessing to us all, dogs and humans.
