Is the vet calling it a sebaceous gland cyst or a follicular cyst...? If so, these are very common and many dogs will get them their whole lives. With Marcel, he'll get them and they grow...and at some point we do have to have them surgically removed once they just get too big. When tiny though, the vet can sometimes just quickly laser zap them off - so that's the time (if they are growers) to get them -- bc you may be able to do a quick sedation and zap it, done. Rather than actual surgery!
