Black mold- any advice? Any experience? I'll TRY to keep this as short as possible, but when our place gentrified we had three weeks to buy the place we did. We had home inspections- two- paid for and so did the HOA, so this comes as a very big shock.
I've been sick. Not my disability, something that came out of nowhere. Right around the time Chewie started to have symptoms of stuff that we couldn't pinpoint. The backs of my legs are very bad, and any time It gets better with my antibiotic cream, it comes back. Cellutlitis has happened twice because of it. I've suddenly started snoring and have never before. I have a tight chest, I'm fatigued, and have had two bouts of a clogged sinus. All new. All all of a sudden. I have been a bit forgetful, too. Not all the time, but enough. I wake up with horrible headaches. Husband has had sudden bouts of his mouth bleeding out of nowhere during his sleep, unexplained skin rashes, breathing issues on top of the issues he has, fatigue and also some short term memory loss.
Chewie has been trembling off and on for no reason. It's not frequent enough for it to have been concerning, and the vet knew about it. We put her back on her steroids because of these bouts. Her throat has slightly narrowed, when, again, it came out of nowhere. She's limped twice so far one with the time I came on here, and end of summer slight limping but went away very fast. She's had stomach issues off and on, infrequently, too. Aside from allergies. There is no rhyme or reason for them.
Lastly, daughter has had a few symptoms, mostly centering on constantly watering eyes and some tummy issues. She sleeps upstairs, though, not where we do.
Our water heater had a slow leak. We have a professional company coming in every day and trying to clean up water damage that was much more extensive that they originally thought. We also have complex wide pipe issues, which might also account for this. When they pulled back the carpet.. there was black mold all over our bedroom. Floor at the foot of our bed mere inches from chewie's pillow she'll sleep on when I'm not in bed. Under the v anity, and in our closet. It's still there, along with high powered machines. We had a slow leak, true, but it hasn't been this whole time. The damage points to a chronic problem, though. I am concerned, and not panicking. has any one dealt with this with their yorkie? If so, any one with a pet that dealt with this. What can I expect long term? Vet has been called, of course. That's about all. I was also hoping that putting this down into words would help me clear my mind. It's hard having to go through a company so we can go to another company to have them go to another company. Meanwhile, we have it in our bedroom. still. Any way, Thanks ladies/guys. |
