AKC breeders need to start getting the proper test done to make sure that their dog's are suitable for breeding. Roach back is caused by genetic inheritance
possibly exposure of pregnant bitches to compounds causing birth defects during fetal development, toxins, nutritional deficiencies, and stress. |
Like I posted to you where you posted in the other thread. Just being AKC does not make a breeder reputable. In fact puppy mills will register dogs with the AKC. The AKC is the only reputable registry in the US but there is a lot more research that has to go into and you are much better starting with the breed clubs which have stricter laws.
