I think a rescue from a puppy mill would be great but I have read the downside of it too. Don't get me wrong I'm not 'dissing' the rescues but I think you should know what your in for. Alot of them have a hard time being socialized and may not ever be potty trained. My never trust the owner or have EXTREME seperation anxiety. So many of them also don't have any teeth or very few. I looked in to it myself, but I know that I do not have the time to give a puppy mill dog the attention it would need. I would hate to have to put one back had I realized that too late.
