Milo is a 16.5 lb who will be 8 months old on 4/1. He has had 3 "puppy trims" but I have not shaved him. However, I live in the GREAT state of Texas and as the weather warms up, he spends more and more time laying on the ac vents & in front of fans. I give Oscar a "Puppy cut" . I use the #10 blade with a 3mms guide comb. It leaves about a 1/4 inch length . I've read that shaving to the skin should be avoided to prevent sunburn.
