Been there .... we found that the "hit or miss" period requires lots of watching, treats and celebration!! When Toto would hit the pad we would treat her and do the "happy dance"! When she missed and we knew it wasn't accidental [sometimes their little butts will hang over the side] ... we said absolutely nothing ... just silently cleaned it up and let it go. Didn't take her long to know that when she goes on the pad, there's reward. Very soon her aim was perfect! Good luck!
