I'm sure you meant clippers when you said shave and not literally shaving your dog's body. We groom our own boys. We have used a 10 blade on their bodies before, but we prefer the 7 blade for the bodies. We finger cut the legs and face. I understand your and your baby's situation completely. I live in Mississippi, and my boys simple can't have lots of hair in the summer. It's miserably hot/humid. I am attaching pictures that are hopefully helpful. The first are my boys in their winter cuts. The second is my Zeus in his summer cut. Perseus wasn't being cooperative that day, and I couldn't get a decent picture of his haircut. |
