I feed mine prescription canned food since she has colitis. I use a small syringe a few times a day. She also won't eat out of a bowl I have to put it on the counter top . She was a rescue and is six years old and 4 pounds. Also refuses to play with a toy. She is going to be spayed I am hoping that will change her a little. But I do love her she's adorable. Good luck
