My two cents I'm not happy at all reading this post. I hope what I'm about to say doesn't make you feel bad. I just feel bad that in a way you are treating your 'bigger' yorkie like a piece of clothing. To you, it doesn't fit....so you go out and find a tinier, little one that appears to fit. I hate to tell you this, but there's probably a good chance that tinier one will grow to be bigger than your 'bigger' yorkie. A lot of these breeder swear they have (and I hate to use this word) "teacup" yorkies. It's just a fancy word to make people who do not research yorkies pay MORE MONEY. The smaller a dog is (any breed), the more it is prone to health problems.
I think that you are in love with the idea of a 'tiny' puppy. If that's the main reason you are purchasing a yorkie....well, maybe it is a good idea for you to give your 'bigger' yorkie to a good family that will love him no matter what. |
