I personally would suggest that everyone do research and check their own cars. I can not turn my off in my car but if the seat belt is buckled and less then 25 or 20 pounds then it will turn off. A few other cars I have had were all different the older one did not turn off if no one was in the seat so it’s very important to know your car.
