My Sissy girl passed away at the end of January...She fought this ugly disease for 2 yrs...She was having a relapse, so we took her to the vet..He gave her a big dose of steroids and something to help her rest..She had went all week barely sleeping..We didn't get 3 blocks down the road and she died in my arms...I am pretty sure it was just to much for her ,already strained heart and lungs..I am at peace knowing I was there with her and she is no longer suffering..It was almost a year to the day that we lost our little Taz..He was a 4lb yorkie and he fell off the arm of our recliner and instantly died of a broken neck..No matter how much we love and protect them,we just can't stop it all
