So very sorry for your lose and this terrible disease. I know very well what GME is and does.
Lost my 7 year old Yorkie Titan from this heat breaking disease. He was diagnosed at age 5. For almost 2 years we spent 1,000's upon 1'000's of dollars to help him have somewhat a normal life.
University of Tennessee Vet. Hospital was very helpful.
He died just one week into his 7th birthday, Valentine's Day.
Worse day of my life.
Now we have Ruger, which has turned 3 years old. I'm on pins & needles constantly.
He has all the core vaccinations and 1 rabies so far. Before my Vet wants to re vaccinate I'm for sure going to have him titer 1st.
I refuse to give him more if he is protected.
I pray no one has to go through this very hateful disease with their baby.
