My 12 yr old Yorkie has had many health issues since the age of 8. Cushing's disease (she's on Vetoryl ;30 mg), which led to diabetes (5 units twice a day), which led to cataracts ( spent $ 6000 on surgery so she could see again).
Now all of a sudden, she has been having episodes where she shakes for a few seconds and sometimes her back legs give out. Otherwise she is fine. (Energy, appetite and bowel movements ok) I just spent a bunch more money doing blood tests, diabetic curve, checking her level for the cushings, and EKG? type test for her heart. Also checked her calcium levels. Everything comes back normal. Don't really want to spend more money on CT scan or a neurologist.
Any one have this experience? Could it be diet?
