The YorkieTalk Team will do everything in our power to make sure YorkieTalk stays around and functional for all of our members and for all Yorkshire Terrier parents and for those that are new to the Yorkie breed. Our goal here has always been to educate, learn, and share our Yorkie experiences with one another and to provide a positive, fun, friendly, and helpful community.
If there are any problems with the site or YorkieTalk (be it financial or technical), we will try to let all of our members know. We do not anticipate any problems, but please do remember that YorkieTalk is completely supported by member donations and with a few ads. With our continuous growth, the costs do continue to rise as well, as server costs, hosting fees, database backups, bandwidth considerations, software fees, and server administration costs go up with our growth. We will continue to remain a free community and an open community.
Sometimes there are Internet connectivity issues with the YorkieTalk server, but overall, we believe we have been up and running at least 99.5% of the time since YorkieTalk was founded and we will do everything in our power to make sure that continues. We are very pleased to see the real personal relationships that have developed between members and we are happy to see that we have been able to help Yorkie owners all around the world connect with one another. We hope our members see YorkieTalk as a community of their own and other YT members as family. There may be a few small fights here and there, but overall the YT family should all love and respect one another. |
