My yorkie Benji is one year old and has definitely always been on the more nervous/anxious side but this is especially true when it comes to walking outside. We’ve tried and tried to get him to like his daily walks but if we don’t stick to the same two or three blocks, he freaks! Even then, there is still this undercurrent of nervousness he emits. I’m talking pulling hard on the leash, head turning in every direction at once, doing nothing but sniff the ground for trash to pick up and eat. And the minute we get on the block of our apartment, he pulls harder than ever to make it inside. I hate our walks so much, more so for him because I know it should be different and he should be enjoying his time outside. I really don’t know what to do anymore and any advice would be more than welcome
